Mrs. Lucille Elizabeth Luckett Fitzgerald, 84, a resident of McIntyre Drive in Columbia and formerly of the Water Valley Community, died Thursday, July 7, 2005 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Family services for Mrs. Fitzgerald will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, June 9, 2005, at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Jack Taylor, Rev. Steve Robertson and Curtis Dowdy officiating. Burial will be in the Santa Fe Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday starting at 5:00 pm, at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Neal and Margaret Dial Luckett and widow of the late William Clyde Fitzgerald. She was a seamstress with Publix Manufacturing and Dixie Manufacturing, a homemaker and a member of the Santa Fe Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Wayne Fitzgerald and Randy Fitzgerald, both of Columbia; a sister, Jewel Litton of Columbia; four grandchildren, Renee Jimmy Phillips of Culeoka, Stephanie Fitzgerald of Columbia, Todd Lisa Fitzgerald of Santa Fe and Randy Dwayne Tammy Fitzgerald of Pulaski; four great grandchildren, Courtney Dwayne Anderson, Kalee Fitzgerald and Jack Fitzgerald, all of Santa Fe and Paige Fitzgerald of Pulaski. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Early Mae Haywood and Marie Hood; two brothers, Paul Luckett and Marvin Luckett.
Pallbearers will be Todd Fitzgerald, Randy D. Fitzgerald, Jack Fitzgerald, Jimmy Phillips, David Hermann, David Hood, Troy Wilson, Daniel Gilliam and Tommy Ervin. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Hendley and the Adult Sunday School Class of the First Nazarene Church.
