Mrs. Lucile Walker Morgan King, age 95, resident of Walnut Street in Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 7, in Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mrs. King will be conducted Thursday at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Bro. Jim Walsh officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Cemetery.
The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 5:00 ? 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the daughter of the late John Riley Walker and Hannah Carter Walker. She was the widow of the late Thomas H. Morgan, Sr., and Willard King. She was a homemaker and loved the outdoors, quilting and needlepoint. She had read the Bible through seven times. She was a member of the Locust Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include one daughter: Helen Brunson of Columbia; two sons: Wayne Dimple Morgan of Buffalo Valley, TN and Junior Joyce Morgan of Philadelphia, TN; 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter: Juanita Henson, two sisters: Suzie Kannon, and Lacy Attkisson, two brothers: Oscar Walker and Lonnie Walker and one grandson: Larry Henson.
Pallbearers will be James White, Jeff Morgan, David Henson, Jerry Henson, Tommy Morgan and Wayne Morgan. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Locust Street Church of Christ, a special friend: Charles ?Spud? Crotzer, and Mr. and Mrs. James Jones.
