Mrs. Myrtle Louise Wells Paul, 81, formerly of Adams Avenue in Mt. Pleasant, died Wednesday, November 27, 2002 at the home of her niece in Brentwood.
Funeral services for Mrs. Paul will be conducted Saturday, November 30, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at the Williams Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home with Reverend J.C. Christian officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Nashville, Tennessee native was the daughter of the late John and Myrtle Wells. She was the widow of Harry G. Paul who died in 1988. She was retired from Ross Insurance Agency in Mt. Pleasant. She was a former resident of the St. Paul on Hillsboro Road in Nashville and current resident of carestone at Brentwood. She was a member of the Woodmont Hills Baptist Church and former member of the First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant where she served as organist for many years.
She is survived by a son, Ed Linda Paul of Grand Rapids, MI; a granddaughter, Nancy Paul of San Jose, CA; four nieces, Betty John DeVoe and Barbara Rob Huttsell both of Nashville, TN, Lynette Ed Chandler of Atlanta, GA, and Edith Tom von Komeke of Indianapolis, IN; a sister-in-law, Macon Wells of Atlanta, GA. She was preceded in death by a sister, Volene Andrews; a brother, Bruce Wells.
Pallbearers will be John DeVoe, Roy Paul, David Edwards, Rick Clark, Matthew DeVoe, and Rick Abernathy
