Louise A. Sparks, age 89, passed away November 21, 2013 at NHC Healthcare, Columbia.
Louise was born February 24, 1924 to the Late John Heffington and Eunice Oliver. She was a secretary for Joe Foster at Foster Insurance. She had a strong love of flowers and was an avid gardener, at one point caring for thirty-six rose bushes. She was well loved and known by all of her grandchildren as nanny. Louise was also a member of Lynnville Baptist Church.
She is survived by: her husband: Ronald Sparks; children: Randall Baker and Larry Lee Baker; Daughters: Sandy (Ronnie) Turner and Keela Hood; brothers: Ray and Doug Heffington; and thirteen grand children. Louise is preceded in death by: her sons: Donald Baker and John Baker; sister: Wanda Lou Heffington; brother: Mancel Heffington.
A celebration of her life will be conducted with Bro. Leon Reed officiating Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. The family will visit with friends from 12:00 noon until the service hour, at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia.
