Mrs. Louise Sanders ?Mama Easy? Edwards, 90, a resident of Meadow Road in Mt. Pleasant, died Friday, May 20, 2005 at NHC/Hillview in Columbia.
Funeral services for Mrs. Edwards will be conducted Saturday, May 21, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Mike Roberts officiating. Burial will be in South Point/ Edwards Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Born in Hickman County, she was the daughter of the late George H. and Laura Banks Sanders and wife of the late W.H. Edwards. She was a homemaker and of the Church of Christ faith.
She is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Edwards Spears of Mt. Pleasant; a son, Alfred Nancy Edwards of Mt. Pleasant; a sister, Ethel Love of Columbia; four grandchildren, Ray Kim Edwards of Lebanon, TN, Vicki David Roberts, Alfred Alisa Edwards, Jr., and Wendell Spears, all of Mt. Pleasant; 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Edwards, Jason Roberts, Taylor Duberry, Rob Call, Thomas N. Edwards and Wendell Spears, Jr.
