Louise Bailey Sowell

Mrs. Louise Bailey Sowell, 78, a resident of School Street in Columbia, died Thursday, February 26, 2004 at Baptist Hospital in Nashville.
Funeral services for Mrs. Sowell will be conducted Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rick Points officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Lawrence County native was the daughter of the late Comer P. and Vesta LaCroix Bailey and widow of Joseph A. ?Joe? Sowell who died in 1990. She was a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her devoted sister, Margaret Lucille Cummings of Nashville, TN; cousins, Geneva Cleveland of Detroit, MI, Patty Howell of Dickson, TN, Helen Bailey and Christine Love both of Nashville, TN; and many other devoted cousins.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
