Louis A. Dunn, Sr.

Mr. Louis A. Dunn, Sr., 76, died Saturday, December 14, 2002 at his residence on Red Bud Lane in Columbia.
Funeral services for Mr. Dunn will be conducted Monday, December 16, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Dawson officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens with military honors being provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post #19. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 5 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Shreveport, Louisiana native was the son of the late Ivy Elmo Dunn and Ruby Ann Dunn. He was the husband of Margaret Ann Goodwin Dunn. He was a retired Program Analyst from Civil Service and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
In addition to his wife he is survived by one son, Louis A. Beth Dunn, Jr.; one daughter Linda Jerry Walkoviak both of Columbia; two granddaughters, Carey Danny Willems and Jennifer Troy Wolfe both of Columbia and three grandsons, David Dunn and Matthew Dunn of Columbia and Brad Lewis Blakely of Indiana; one brother, Ivy E. Dunn of New Mexico and one sister Marion Leslie Dunn of Alabama.
Active pallbearers will be David Dunn, Matthew Dunn, Terry Wayne Davis, Jimmy Davis, George Davis, Michael Davis and Brad Lewis Blakely. Honorary pallbearers will Robert Cecil Poag, Ray Rogers, Troy Wolfe, and Danny Willems.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Hospice of The Highland Rim, 705 Trotwood Ave. Columbia, TN 38401.
