Lorna Lee Thompson

Lorna Lee Thompson, age 79, a resident of Columbia, TN passed away June 17, 2013 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Lorna was born on March 3, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan to parents late Willie Alva Thompson, and the late Florence “Sharp” Thompson. Lorna was a member of the West End Baptist Church, and whose love for the Lord was the most important part of her life. She loved music and sang in her church choir. She was a wonderful mother to her family, and cared deeply for her friends and church family. She was a positive influence on everyone she knew.
Graveside services for Lorna will be Friday, June 21st 10:00 a.m. at Polk Memorial Gardens. Bro. Rick Elsey will officiate the service.
Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
Lorna is survived by: Daughter; Sharon (Don) Conant, Grandson; Jason Conant, and Granddaughter; Caitlin Conant.
Lorna is preceded by her late husband Robert A. Thompson.
