Mrs. Lori Ann Jett Rountree, 44, a resident of Creekside Drive in Nashville, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at her home.
Funeral services for Mrs. Rountree will be conducted Saturday, April 29, 2006 at 2:00 pm at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Kirk Brothers and Randy Kersey officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Born in Lewis County, she was the daughter of June Perkins Jett and the late James Jett and wife of Dennis Rountree and mother of the late Adrien Denise Rountree. She worked as a nanny for the Zylstra family in Nashville and was a member of the Tusculum Church of Christ.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a brother, Kenneth Christy Jett of Centerville; mother and father-in-law, Jack and Melba Rountree of Mt. Pleasant; brother-in-law, Tim Rountree of Columbia; niece, Amanda Jett of Florida; nephew, James Jett of Centerville.
Pallbearers will be Steve McEwen, Ben Stewart, Paul McClain, Don Gibson, Ron Kelley, Doug Kelley, James Lee Johnson, Stephen Kelley, Joel Oswalt and Gene Craig. Honorary pallbearers will be Milton Perry and Michael and Gina Zylstra.
