Lora Potts Lemay

November 16, 1918 — April 9, 2003

Mrs. Lora Potts LeMay, 84, widow of Roy Richard LeMay and a resident of Experiment Station Lane in Columbia, died Wednesday April 9, 2003 at St. Thomas Hosptial in Nashville after an extended illness.

Funeral services for Mrs. LeMay will be conducted Saturday, April 12, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Columbia Funeral Home with John Vaughn officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Oliver and Lillie B. Potts and wife of the late Roy LeMay. She was a seamstress for 22 years with Columbia Military Academy. She was a member of the Graymere Church of Christ.

She is survived by four daughters; Mary Nemerow of Columbia, Wanda Joe Rositano of Nolensville, TN, Martha Ron LeMay-Sellers of Columbia, TN and Sheila Reece of Columbia, TN; a step-son, Rex Wilson Charlene LeMay of Culleoka, TN; nine grandchildren, Bobby Dorton, Richard Perry, Joey Rositano, Michael Rositano, Alexis Rositano, Holly Moore, Chadwick Moore, Lindsey Reece and Brent LeMay; two brothers, Lester Potts of Santa Fe, TN and Ray Potts of Little Lot; two sisters, Rachel Rhodes of Columbia, TN and Lillie Phillips of Nashville, TN.


Active pallbearers will be Richard Perry, Bobby Dorton, Rex Wilson LeMay, Joe Rositano, Michael Rositano, Len Rositano, Ron Sellers, Milton Perry, Chadwick Moore Joey Rositano, and Gary Moore. Honorary pallbearers will be elders and deacons of Graymere Church of Christ.
