Mrs. Lois Williams, age 78, a resident of Stockton Drive, died on Tuesday, October 14, at Maury Regional Hospital.
Graveside services for Mrs. Williams will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 P.M. at Polk Memorial Gardens with Randy Owens and Mike Kessler officiating.
The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia.
The Maury County native was the daughter of the late John Chesley Williams and Grace Summers Williams. She was the wife of 30 years of Robert M. "Bobby" Williams of Columbia. Mrs. Williams retired after 47 years of service with Redman-Davis Insurance where she was part owner and secretary-treasurer. She was a member of the West Seventh Street Church of Christ.
Survivors in addition to her husband include her children: Jan William May of Huntsville, AL and Pansy Winston Gant of Morrison, TN; grandchildren: Katherine May of Huntsville, William Kathleen Gant of Nashville and Hannah Clint Gribble of McMinnville and two great-granddaughters.
Pallbearers will be William May, Clint Gribble, Thomas Williams, Winston Gant, Glen Williams, William Gant and Robert Williams.
The family has requested that memorial donations be made to Columbia Academy, 1101 West Seventh Street, Columbia, TN 38401 or to the charity of your choice.
