Mrs. Lois Potts Hay, 74, a resident of Raleigh Beard Road in Santa Fe, passed away Friday, July 24 at Signature Health Care in Columbia
Funeral services for Mrs. Hay will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Chapel Cemetery
The family will receive friends Monday from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Born July 27, 1934 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Hollis Potts and Lorene Hay Potts Haskins and the wife of the late James Thomas Hay, who preceded her in death on February 26, 2005. Mrs. Hay was a homemaker and a private sitter, who enjoyed time spent with her family. She was a member of Elmore Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by her daughters: Brenda Robert Davis of Santa Fe, Marlene Smith of Lewisburg; brother: Sam Haskins of Dickson; grandchildren: Shannon Pope of Franklin, Jonathon Stewart, Robert Davis Jr. and Justin Davis, all of Santa Fe, Crystal Smith and Curtis Davis, both of Columbia; great grandchildren: D'Shawnn Pope, Keyairar Pope, Selena Smith, Haley Tucker, Landon Tucker and Jayden Davis. She was preceded in death by two children: Donnie Lee Hay and Belinda Lee Hay; a sister: Barbara Haskins.
Pallbearers will be Shannon Pope, Jonathan Stewart, Robert Davis Jr., Curtis Davis, Calvin Atkins and Phillip Tucker.
