Lois Amonette

Lois Amonette was born on January 15, 1942, in Pleasant View, TN to her mother Edith Binkley Glass. The Lord decided to call Lois Home on October 15, 2023.

She is survived by her husband David W. Amonette, sons David T. Amonette, Anthony T. Amonette and wife Melissa and Jonathan B. Amonette and wife Amy. Grandchildren Lindsay Amonette, Ethan Amonette, Luke Amonette, Lauryn Amonette, Logan Amonette, Lillian Amonette, Jacob Amonette, Madelyn Amonette, Abigail Amonette and Elisabeth Amonette.

Lois is proceeded in death by her mother Edith.

Lois was a well-rounded and caring individual with a variety of interests and talents. Her love for reading, crossword puzzle and her affection for her grandkids all indicate a rich and fulfilling life. She was the valedictorian of her high school as well as the Salutatorian class of 1963 at David Lipscomb college. Her passion for cooking and taking care of people suggests a nurturing and generous personality. Being a shopper might indicate an enjoyment of finding and sharing things with others. Lois seems like a remarkable person who brought joy and love to those around her.

Lois also cared for her grandkids is a wonderful way for Lois to bond with the younger generations of her family and create lasting memories. Being a grandparent was a special and rewarding role, filled with love and support for her grandchildren. It's clear that Lois had a nurturing and caring nature, which likely made her a cherished figure in the lives of her grandkids.

Lois will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her. Her family loved her and take comfort in knowing they will one day be reunited.

Tracey Cameron will preside over the memorial service. Services will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at 4:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to the start of the service.
