Lisa C. Tidwell Lovell, age 45, a resident of Rainey Street in Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Lisa was born November 1, 1964 in Dickson, daughter of Shirley King Owen of Mt. Pleasant and the late Howard Guy Tidwell. Lisa had formerly worked doing medical transcription in Alabama. She was full of life and loved making people laugh. She enjoyed cooking, all kinds of music and dancing. Lisa was a member of the Living Waters Church of God.
In addition to her mother, Lisa is survived by her daughter: Rachel Lovell of St. Cloud, MN; brothers and sisters: James Jackie Tidwell of Columbia, Kimberly Andrew Chard of White House, TN, Shane Owen and Cameron Owen, both of Mt. Pleasant and Paula Tidwell of Murfreesboro.
Funeral services for Lisa are scheduled for Saturday, July 31, at 4:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Larry Reed and Rev. Jason Mize officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 5:00 9:00 P.M. and on Friday from 4:00 - 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Reece, Kevin Pinkard, Preston Dawson, Cole Cooper, Damon Lewis and Joseph Sonya. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. J. Cummins Couch and staff and the third floor nursing staff of Maury Regional Medical Center.
The family has requested that memorials be made to the Lovell family by contacting Williams Funeral Home.
