Lisa Jane “Rutherford” Cummins, 57, passed away on January 15, 2019 at her home in Mt. Pleasant surrounded by her loving family.
Lisa was born May 12, 1961 to the late Matthew Gene Rutherford and Ann Elaine “Goble” in Birmingham, Alabama. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports. She often sat on her front porch in the swing watching the birds. She never met a stranger, was very outgoing and head strong. She fought for the last ten years of her life.
Lisa is survived by daughters; Sheena (Bubba) Holt, Tera (Jason) Smith, grandchildren; Hayden Holt, Hunter Holt, Brayden Collins, Aubrey Collins, Noah Smith, sisters; Kathy (Bobby) Dill and Debbie (Darrell) Garrard, several nieces and nephews as well as special friends; Kathy Rogers and Jennifer Nichols. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother; Lesley Eugene Rutherford.
Services will be Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant. Family will visit with friends from 11:00 to 1:00. Burial following at Spencer Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Family and friends.
The family would like to thank the home health nurses for all their care.
Williams Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, family requests that donations be made toward the funeral.
