Linda Faye Turner

Linda Faye Osborne Turner, age 67, passed away on October 24, 2013 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Linda was the daughter of the late Malcomb Osborne and the late Henrietta Phillips Osborne, and was born in Columbia, Tennessee on March 6, 1946. She worked for several years in housekeeping at Holiday Inn.

Ms. Turner had a great love for animals. She enjoyed “drinking her coffee” and especially talking on the phone; you’d never find her without it. She also loved to ride and just “be on the go”.

Linda is survived by her daughters: Tammie Ray and Vickie Howell; son: Tim Turner; siblings: Mai Morrow, Reba (J. D.) Pope, David Osborne and Jerry (Janie) Osborne; grandchildren: Jeremie Ray, Christopher Ray, Aaron Turner, Aimee (Chris) Spires, Kendall Turner, Ashley Turner, Phoebe Turner and David Osborne, Jr. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son: James P. Turner, Jr.

Funeral services for Ms. Turner will be held on Monday, October 28, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Pastor David Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until time for the service.

Brothers and grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
