Linda Louise Ricketts

Linda Louise Ricketts, age 75, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2024, at Stone Crest Medical Center in Smyrna, Tennessee. Born on May 9, 1949, in Williamsport, Tennessee, Linda was the cherished daughter of the late C.T. Andrews and Annie Hood Andrews.

Linda had a love for flowers, especially roses, and took great pride in filling her flower beds with vibrant blooms whenever she could. She also found joy in shopping and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wayne Ricketts, and granddaughters, Ashley Huckaby and Kayla Taylor, as well as her parents.

Linda is survived by her loving children: Sonya (David) Blackwell, Sharon (Eric) Hileman, and Derek (Jennifer) Smith. She also leaves behind her adored grandchildren: Tim (Elizabeth) Taylor, Krista Taylor, Danielle Huckaby, Amaya Smith, and Brooklyn Smith; and her great-grandchildren: Shalyn Brasfield, Braden Taylor, Andrew Malone, Bralyn Taylor, Austin Taylor, Adrianna Malone, Audrey Taylor, and Shelby Farless; sister: Annie Lou Chapman; brother: Thomas Wayne Andrews; and several nieces and nephews. 

A service to celebrate Linda’s life will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee, with Robert Cunningham Sr. officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 PM until the time of the ceremony. Linda will be laid to rest beside her husband at Andrews Cemetery in Santa Fe, Tennessee.
