Linda “Carol” Landrum of St. Joseph, TN passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at ECM Hospital. Carol was born on February 27, 1945 to the late Alden Slade and Ethel Lavinghouse Slade in Deming, NM.
On August 3rd of 1963, Carol married James Landrum and they shared 53 wonderful years together. She had worked as a medical technician at Indian Hills Nursing Home in Missouri. She was a homemaker and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 146 in Loretto, TN. Carol loved crafting, knitting and crocheting. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed fishing. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Survivors in addition to her husband include one son, Michael (Kay) Landrum of St. Joseph; Daughter, Linda Murphy of KC, MO; grandchildren, Sabrina (Rod) Slater, Anthony (Vibeke) Landrum, Christopher (Charli) Murphy and Steven (Jessica) Murphy; two great-granddaughters, Vanessa Johnson and Violet Murphy.
