Linda S Kinney Burch

Linda Kinney Burch, age 76, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2025, in Columbia, TN. Born October 8, 1948, in Marianna, AR, she resided most of her life in Memphis, TN, attending Memphis State University nursing school. She lived the latter part of her life on a farm in Maury County, TN.

Linda cherished her family above all else, dedicating herself fully to their well-being and happiness. She loved God, her husband, children, and grandchildren. Her life was one of service, both to her family and her church. She cherished traditions and holidays, striving to make each one special. An avid reader, she found solace in the pages of novels, and her love for horses brought her great joy and connection to the beauty of nature. She lived a full, beautiful life with plenty of summer evenings on the back porch and winter days in front of the fire.

Linda is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Calvin Burch; her children, Tracy Voyles (Nathan) and Kevin Burch (Charlee); her beloved grandchildren, Ethan, Claire, Luke, and Avery Voyles; and her sister, Brenda Kinney. She was preceded in death by her brothers and mother, Pearl Culver Kinney.

Linda’s life was a testament to the quiet strength of love and the beauty of a life well-lived. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Those wishing to celebrate her life are invited to a memorial service on January 18th, 2025, 10 am, at Central Christian Church, 701 Bear Creek Pike, Columbia, TN.
