Linda Johnson, age 70, passed away with her daughter by her side, on Friday, September 16, 2022, at St. Thomas Midtown in Nashville, Tennessee.
Linda was born on September 30, 1951, in Boston Massachusetts to the late Salvatore and Eleanor Turco.
Linda was an amazing woman. She was always the first one to help anyone. She was dedicated and loving in everything she did. From being a great mom to employee. Linda also loved being the big sister in her family of 9. She loved her siblings so very much. She worked as a candy striper as a young woman and even worked in an old soda shop. She also worked as a bookkeeper for nearly 40 years until her retirement. Linda will be deeply missed by her family who she loved so much and by all who knew her.
Linda has been reunited with her parents: Salvatore and Eleanor Turco; brother: Joseph Turco; sister: Maryanne Turco; and baby brother: David B. Turco Sr.
Those left to cherish Linda’s memory are her daughter: Lauren Cheever (Anjel) Williams; siblings: John Turco, Janet Turco, Jeanne Turco, and Kelley (Ronnie) Ezell; nephews: David Turco, Jr., Michael Kelley, Greg (Preston) Kelley, Craig (Danielle) Kelley; and her furbaby she loved dearly: Ginger.
A celebration of life for Linda will be held Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to the start of the service.
