Linda Harwell Potts, age 55, resident of Lawrenceburg Highway in Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2011 at Crockett Hospital in Lawrenceburg.
Linda was born on June 16, 1955 in Lewisburg, Tennessee and was the daughter of the late Norman and Clara Ayers Harwell. She enjoyed cooking, playing many computer games, working puzzles and picking around with everyone. Linda was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She was of the Baptist Faith. Linda loved her cat "mittens".
Linda is survived by her husband, Tony Potts; two sons, Norman "Bubba" Ashlee Potts and Ricky Conitha Howell both of Williamsport; three daughters, Jennie Lou Mike Rinaudo and Judy Potts both of Columbia and Peggy Lynn Leverette of Lewisburg; a brother, Roger Harwell of Columbia; two sisters, Lena Harwell and Annie Harwell both of Columbia; 5 grandchildren; and her extended family and caretakers, Phillip Potts, Helen Kelley and all of the York Family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Norma Jean Walls.
Funeral services for Linda will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, March 28, 2011 in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rick Points officiating. Interment will follow at Williamsport Baptist Cemetery.
The Potts Family will receive friends from 4-8 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Potts, Joe R. York, Jeremy York, Robert Shrake, James "Bugg" Potts, Joe A. York, William "Punkin" Rich and Dustin Rich.
