Linda Gail Tease Garth, age 59, of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, May 05, 2016 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia.
Linda was born on April 6, 1957, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee to Marshall and Patricia Ruth Pinder Tease. She was a caring mother to Jonathan and life partner to Rick who remembers her as the best friend he ever had. Linda held a B. S. degree in Behavioral Science from Martin Methodist and worked as a peer counselor support. Previous to that she worked for many years in assembly at the Murray Ohio plant in Lawrenceburg.
Her sisters fondly recall that she had a wicked sense of humor. She was an avid reader and lover of education. She loved Jeopardy and never missed an episode. She also enjoyed watching the Game of Thrones series, as well as movies in her spare time. Her latest hobby was making jewelry. She loved animals, especially cats.
Linda is survived by her life partner: Rick Garth of Lawrenceburg; son: Jonathan Garth of Lawrenceburg; siblings: Juanita (Kenny) Hanson, Patricia Sudduth, Steven Tease and Debra (Ted) Bosheers; three nieces: Jessica Sudduth, Ashley Bosheers and Mariann Tease; and several cousins. She was preceded i n death by her parents: Marshall Tease and Patricia Ruth Pinder Tease; and brother: Marshall Tease, Jr.
The family will celebrate Linda’s life with a memorial service at a later date.
