Linda Devault, a beacon of love and grace, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2024, at the age of 86. Born on March 26, 1938, to Edward and Ruth Bizjack in Wabash, Indiana. Linda lived a life filled with devotion, joy, and was a devout Catholic.
Linda's heart was forever bound to her husband, E. Duane Devault, with whom she celebrated 57 years of marriage. Their love story was one of unwavering commitment and deep affection, and together they built a family that was their greatest pride and joy.
Linda was the cherished mother of Cindy Rowekamp, Mark (Julie) Devault, Debbie (Mike) Burris, Connie (Phil) Scamihorn, and Cathy (Scott) Duncan. Her children fondly remember her as a source of boundless support, encouragement, and wisdom. She delighted in the accomplishments of her family and embraced every moment with a warm smile and a loving heart.
As a grandmother, Linda’s joy knew no bounds. She doted on Kyle (Lindsey) Rowekamp, Kari (Drew) Braly, Angela Devault, Shaun Devault, Landon (Emily) Devault, Lance Roberts, Logan (Kristen) Roberts, Kenzie (Cory) Cox, Alexis (Evan) Goad, Anna (C.J.) Six, Bryce Munn, Susan (Rob) Lato, and Jacob (Amanda) Duncan, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Her 14 great-grandchildren were her pride and joy, bringing her immeasurable happiness and making her eyes light up with each visit.
Linda is survived by her beloved brother, Larry (Mary Ann) Bizjack, who shared many cherished memories and moments with her throughout their lives.
She is also predeceased by her siblings: Jack (Dawn) Bizjack and Janice (Bob) Wallace.
A woman of remarkable warmth, Linda had a unique ability to make everyone around her feel loved and valued. Her kindness, strength, and radiant spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
