Linda Dawn King Davis, 46, resident of Nine Mile Ridge in Duck River, TN , left her earthly home on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Hickman Community Hospital in Centerville, TN
Born November 24, 1964 in Maury County, daughter of Richard and Sondra King, step-mother of Columbia and the late Linda Holt King. She was the loving wife of Howard Davis of Duck River, TN. Dawn was a very loving wife, mother and daughter and co-owner with her husband of the 3D Glass Company of Maury County. Her greatest joy in life was spending time camping with her husband, children and Daddy. After graduating from the Hohenwald Vocational School, she then began her working career with NHC/ Hillview Nursing facility as an LPN. where she worked for 10 years.
In addition to her husband and parents, Dawn is survived by a daughter: Leonnah Davis and a son, Mason Davis both of Duck River, TN; four sisters: Vanessa Uzzell, Cheryl Katzenberger of Columbia, Sherry Curtis of Texas and Candy Starling of Lewisburg; grandmother and pappy, Judy Dodd Garrett of Mt. Pleasant; several beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services for Dawn will be held 11:00 AM Monday, May 23, 2011 in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Steve Boshers officiating. Burial will follow in the Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will visit with friends Sunday from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Dawn?s family wants to give a special thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at the Hickman Community Hospital for the kindness in their ministering to family at this time of grief, and also a very special thanks to Michael King for giving assistance to the family with so much compassion.
Pallbearers will be Steve Riggins, Michael King, Chris Woods, Larry Odom, Mickey Chatman and Jared Chilton. Honorary pallbearers will be W. L. Boshers, Billy Ray King, R.C. King, Jimmy King, Staff of NHC/Hillview and all of her loyal friends,
