Linda Sue Collins

Linda Sue Collins, age 65 a resident of Columbia passed away Friday afternoon under the watchful care of her family.

Linda was born on June 6, 1950 in Columbia, TN to the late Thomas Lee Collins and Jannye Lou Baker. Linda worked and retired for the city of Columbia after 21 years as an executive secretary. She continued her education at Columbia State Community College. Linda loved clogging and taught all ages. She also loved reading books, and was a computer wiz.

Linda is survived by her sister Barbara (James) Kelley of Columbia; brothers: Tommy (Pam) Collins of Murfreesboro and Jeffrey (Denise) Collins of Columbia. She is preceded in death by her son, Mark Brooks, her parents, Tom & Jane Collins, her grandparents, Atie & Gladys Collins and Curtis & Essie Lou Baker.

Services for Linda will be held on Monday, June 6, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends on Sunday from 12:00 to 2:00PM at the funeral home.

Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Columbia Parks & Recreation, City of Columbia, and the members of I.A.A.P.
