Lila Lucille Cook

Ms. Lila Lucille Slaughter Cook, age 62, a resident of Lawrence Street in Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at her residence.
Funeral services for Ms. Cook will be Thursday, February 5 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rick Points, Eddie Rogers and Ted Cook officiating. Burial will follow in the Santa Fe Cemetery.
The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 12:00 Noon until 8:00 P.M. and on Thursday from 9:00 A.M. until time of the service at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Samuel Arthur and Minnie Lou Brooks Slaughter. Ms. Cook cleaned offices and businesses for Ted's Janitorial. She attended the Water Valley Church of Christ.
She is survived by her children: Denvy Cook, David Brittney Cook, Tiffany Diane Cook and David Jolee Cook all of Mt. Pleasant; William Todd Cook of Columbia and Shannon Lee Wiley of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren: Kyle Lee Davis, Russell Cole Davis, Casey Davis, Erin Wiley, Kaiden Wiley, Camdyn Cook, Chansten Davis and Genesis Bennett; two brothers: John David Slaughter of Columbia and Arthur Hayden Rebecca Slaughter of Santa Fe. She was preceded in death by one brother; Thomas Attkisson.
Pallbearers will be Todd Cook, Stephen Boshers, Everett Arnold, Andrew McNabb, James Keeton and Bubba Kennedy.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ted Cook and Hospice of the Highland Rim.
