Lewis Brady Steele, Sr, finished his fight on Friday, January 24, 2020, at the age of 69.
Brady, as he was more commonly known, was born on June 13, 1950, to the late James Isom Steele and Julia Armira Grigsby Steele in Williamson County, Tennessee. Brady loved to fish for bluegill, bass, and catfish, play cards and shoot pool. He was very family-oriented, often cooking beef stew, steak, or goat for everyone. He never wanted to see anyone “without.” Brady was a good friend. He showed great skill with woodworking and crafts. He would calmly raise his right fist and say “Love.” He believed in using every situation to share life lessons that were instilled firmly in his children.
His sons survive him: Lewis Brady (Dana) Steele, Jr., and Thalas (Miranda) Steele; daughter: Brandi (Phillip) Alderson; brothers: Harold, Phillip, Kenny (Vanessa), and Pat (Jenny) Steele; sisters: Molly (William) Ware, Peggy (Lee) Misher, Darlene Steele and Annette Steele; grandsons: Xavier Alderson, Anfernnee Wilson, Avery Alderson, and Phillip (Ciara) Alderson, II; granddaughter: Carmaine Alderson; great-grandson: Phillip Alderson III and Kendall Alderson; and mother of his children: Shirley Steele. He was preceded in death by his parents.
