Lewis A. Mitchell

Mr. Lewis A. Mitchell, 77, a resident of Wiley Hollow Road at Culleoka, died Monday, March 24, 2003 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. Mitchell will be conducted Thursday, March 27, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Reverend Telford Tharp and Reverend Jason Kizer officiating. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 5:00 until 9:00 P.M. and after 1:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
The Stegler, Oklahoma native was the son of the late Rollie and Dicie Bittle Mitchell. He was the husband of Flora Vardell Mitchell of Culleoka. He was retired from Gold Bond Paper Company and a member of the First United Pentecostal Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Vivian Douglas Geiger of Sturgis, MI, Alicia Don McEndarfer of Culleoka, TN, and Patricia Steven Pell of Plainwill, MI; a son, Norman Mitchell of Columbia, TN; nine grandchilden and fourteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Leona Roberts of Kalamazoo, MI and Thelma Kall of Vicksburg, MI; three brothers, Ancell Mitchell of Grand Rapids, MI, George Mitchell of Paw Paw, MI, and Angey Mitchell of Galesburg, MI. He was preceded in death by a son, Lawrence Mitchell.
Pallbearers will be family members. Honorary pallbearers will be William Ellis, Alvin Luna, Thomas Holt, Rick Conners, and Jackie Rowland.
