Letha S. Pullen, age 89, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2014 at Life Care Center.
Letha was born on November 10, 1925 in Maury County to the late Richard R. Stanfill and Betty Kelly Stanfill. As a young girl, Letha loved bowling and water skiing. She loved to crochet. Letha was a seamstress at several sewing factories over the years. Letha loved her family and talking to them. She loved birthday parties and now she is having the biggest birthday party with her brothers and sisters in heaven.
The family will visit with friends on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens.
Letha is survived by her son Wendell T. (Vickie) Pullen; granddaughter Anita Jackson of Smyrna, Erin (Dean) Tays, Hannah (Matthew) Irish both of Spring Hill, Lauren (Matt) Mitchell of Christiana; grandson Justin Pullen of Nashville, Tennessee; and great-grandchildren Courtney, Camron Hagler, Amelia Tays, and Rylie Mitchell.
Letha was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Howard Pullen; son, Ricky (Cathy) Pullen; her siblings, Hubert, Harlan, Bufford, Clifton, Ruby, Ruth, Retha, and Oscar.
Pallbearers are Wayne Stanfill, Billy Stanfill, Jeff Stanfill, Steve Stanfill, Donald Love, and Tony Love.
Honorary Pallbearers are the Staff of Life Care and the men of Philippi Church of Christ.
