Lenis Hardison Duvall

January 20, 1935 — February 22, 2003

Mrs. Lenis Ann Hardison Duvall, 68, wife of William Duvall and a resident of the Bear Creek Community, died Saturday, February 22, 2003 at Williamson Medical Center.

Funeral services for Mrs. Duvall will be conducted Monday, February 24, 2003 at 2:30 p.m. at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Joe Duvall officiating. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 2:00p.m. until 9:00p.m at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the daughter of the late A.P. and Ethie Mae Mills Hardison. She was retired press operator at Publix Shirt Factory and currently was secretary of William Duvall Trucking. She was a member of the Sharp's Corner Church of Christ.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Gerrie Lynn Tim Jefferson and Lisa Ann Duvall both of Columbia; one sister, Emma Lee Hardison of Columbia; two granddaughters, Emily Steven Hood and Elizabeth Jefferson both of Columbia; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Marshall Hardison.

Active Pallbearers will be Kevin Owen, Tom Duvall, Howard Hie, Tim Duvall, Ronnie Farr, Dale Ring, Ray Ring, and Fletcher Clymore.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Billy Greenfield, Robert Williams, Gene White, and employees and former employees of William Duvall Trucking.
