Mrs. Lena Belle Henson McClain, 100, a resident of Seventh Street in Lawrenceburg, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at Crockett Hospital.

Funeral services for Mrs. McClain will be conducted Thursday, June 16, 2005 at 2:00 pm at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Nathaniel Hill officiating. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Lewis County native was the daughter of John William and Roxie Anna Walls Henson. She was the widow of Allen McClain who passed away in 1978. Mrs. McClain was a homemaker and a member of Highland Park Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg.

She is survived by three sons, William M. ?Buddy? McClain of Kingston Springs, TN, R L McClain of Lawrenceburg, TN and Bobby J. Rachel McClain of Hendersonville, TN; two daughters, Betty J. Bill Nix of Summertown, TN and Mary L. Conley Hill of Antioch, TN; eleven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; one sister, Lucille Massey of Mt. Pleasant, TN.

She was preceded in death by son, Howard Lee McClain; daughter Louise Huff; grandson, Tim Nix; daughter-in-law, Mary Frances McClain; four sisters and two brothers.

Pallbearers will be Conley Hill, Bill Nix, Randy Sweeney, Charlie Huff, Jimmy McClain and Mike McClain.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Huff, Jeff Nix, Marti McClain, Richard Hendrix and David Estey
