Mr. Lee Schroan, age 76, a resident of Franklin, TN, passed away on Friday, December 26 at Williamson Medical Center following an extended illness.
Funeral services for Mr. Schroan will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel o f Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Dr. Bob Adair officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. – 8:00 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral home.
The Elizabethtown, Kentucky native was retired from National Distilleries and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Schroan was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
Survivors include his children: Sharon Fentress of Franklin, Cynthia Doug Sherrard of Orange Beach Ala., Tim Schroan and Dan Karen Schroan of Louisville, Ky.; one brother: John Ora Mae Schroan and one sister: Marjorie Keith, both of Louisville. 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: Ralph and Chole Greenup, two grandchildren: Brandy Fentress and Richard Schroan; two brothers: Everett Sherroan and Jessie Lawrence and one sister: Minnie Litsey.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Wiseman, Doug Sherrard, Brian Fentress, Greg Sanders and members of the Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19
