Laura F. Poole

Laura F. Williams Poole, age 72, passed away Friday, September 20th in Charleston, SC.

Laura was born December 5, 1940 to parents Willie J. Williams and Hazel Williams in Mt. Pleasant, TN. Laura was a member of Deerpark Baptist Church. She transformed her hobby into a business, becoming the owner of “Sock World,” Laura was a stay at home mom, who loved participating in in local community events. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling, camping, and going on cruises.

Funeral services for Laura will be a graveside service Tuesday, September 24th at 2:00 p.m. at Polk Memorial Mausoleum. Family and friends may visit from 12:00 P.M.-1:30 P.M. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, TN. Rev. William Owens will officiate the service.

Pallbearers will be: Jonathan Poole, Alex McConnell, Chuck Barnes, and John Coley.

Laura is survived by: Son; David D. Poole of Summerville, SC, Daughter; Suzanne P. (John) Coley of Concord, NC, Grandsons; Jonathan T. Poole of Summerville, SC, Brady A. Poole of Summerville, SC, Alex McConnell of Texas, and Jonathan Coley of Texas, Granddaughter; Laura E. Boynton of Concord, and Great-Granddaughter Natalie Boynton.
