Larry was born in Maury County on December 14, 1940. He was the son of the late Jesse and Katherine Shouse Warren. Larry was 69 years old and was a resident of the Leipers Creek Road in the Santa Fe Community. He was the husband of Marion Delbridge Warren of Santa Fe. Larry was a veteran of the United States Army and was on active duty during the Vietnam War. Mr. Warren was retired from the Ford Glass Plant after serving 35 years with the company. Mr. Warren was also a member of the UAW Local 737 and attended the Anderson Bend Church of Christ.
In addition to his wife of 45 years, Mr. Warren is survived by his daughter, Angie Troy Parks of the Duck River Community; two grandchildren, Dalton Lee Parks and Levi Cameron Parks both of the Duck River Community: and a sister, Martha Ann White of the Santa Fe Community. Larry was preceded in death, by four brothers and sisters, Jesse Benjamin Warren, Douglas Warren, Bonnie Sue Warren and Geneva Hay.
Mr. Larry Warren passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2010. Funeral services for Mr. Warren will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, December 17, 2010 in the chapel of the Williams Funeral Home of Columbia with Stan Butt officiating. Interment will follow at the Hilltown Nazarene Cemetery. The Warren family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the Warren family has requested donations be made to the Doyle Bowen Memorial Park, P.O. Box 272, Centerville, TN 37033 or Camp Meribah/ Centerville Church of Christ, 138 N. Central Ave., Centerville, TN 37033.
Active pallbearers will be Byron White, Timmy White, Jim Dotson, Roy Dean Johnson, Perry Johnson, Guy Potts and Roger Hay. Honorary pallbearers will be PeeWee Johnson, R.B. Potts, Jerry Delbridge, Herbert Delbridge, Tommy Parks, James Pickel, men of the Anderson Bend Church of Christ, members of the UAW Local 737, Hickman County Middle School Sports Team Parents.
