Larry Eugene Threet, age 64, passed away Saturday, September 21st, 2013 in Mt. Pleasant, TN.
Larry was born June 7, 1949 to parents William Edward Threet, Sr. and Virginia “Methvin” Barber in Adrian, Michigan. Larry served his country in The United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Larry was a truck driver, and had passion for cars and motorcycles. Larry was known by his family and friends to be a very funny man, and happy man, who loved to tell jokes.
Funeral services for Larry will be Wednesday, September 25th 2:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, TN, with burial to follow at Deerfield Baptist Church Cemetery in Lawrenceburg. Family and friends may visit from 5-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 24th at Williams Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Howard Mangrum, Christopher Lindsey, Robert Nethery, and Austin Bratton.
American Legion Post 19 will conduct the Military Honors.
Larry is survived by: Daughters; Janice Threet, Autumn (Robert) Nethery, Sons; Timothy Douley, Grandchildren; Shelly, Sharlotte Carol, and Xavian Fann, Brothers; James Threet, Melvin Threet, Michael (Deborah) Threet, Sister; Terry (Howard) Mangrum.
Larry is preceded in death by: Son; Larry Eugene Threet II, Brothers; William Edward Threet, Jr., Douglas Threet, Sisters; Audrey Clark, Janice Threet.
