Larry Wayne Slaughter, Jr., age 51, passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 19, 2020, at his home.
Larry was born on September 4, 1968 in Williamson County in Franklin, Tennessee to the late Larry W. Slaughter, Sr. and Edna Parrish. He grew up in Lewis and Maury counties in Tennessee. He got his GED and then his CDL license to become a truck driver. He was a hard worker who painted and did plumbing as well. He was a member of Garrett Baptist Church. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, and fishing.
He is survived by his mother: Edna R. Parrish; sisters: Delores Liggett and Connie W. Slaughter; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and his dog: Junior. He was preceded in death by his father: Larry W. Slaughter, Sr.; grandparents: James T. and Katherine Parrish; uncles: Timothy A. Parrish, and James T. Parrish, Jr.
Services will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Williams Funeral Home, Columbia at 1:00 PM. Burial to follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Theta, Tennessee. Family will visit with friends on from 11:00 AM until time of service.
Pallbearers are Tracy Bain, Raymond Conners, Thomas Moon, Dominick Puleuso, Jeff McGee, and Bobby Young.
