Larry Green, age 67, a resident of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed way on Tuesday, December 23, 2008.
A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, January 10, 2009, at 11:00 A.M. at the Leipers Fork Cemetery with Rick Points officiating. Williams Funeral Home in Columbia is in charge of local arrangements.
The Williamson County native was the son of the late Herman Lee Green and Martha Martin Green. He was employed at Texaco Oil Company for 32 years and recently retired from Heritage Automotive in Lawrenceburg.
Larry loved football, basketball and especially enjoyed cooking anything and everything for his friends and family.
He is survived by his special companion of 27 years, Melba Cheek; one son: Dewayne Judy Green and sisters: Rosa Lee White, Mary Faye Doug Ladd and Linda Perry Henry.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Athletic program at Hillsboro Middle School, 5412 Pinewood Road, Franklin, TN 37064.
