Lana Harris Beard

Mrs. Lana Dean Harris Beard, 39, wife of Terry Beard and a resident of East Height Street in Lawrenceburg, died Tuesday, August 30, 2005 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mrs. Beard will be conducted Saturday, September 3, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Reverend Steve Swango officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Friday from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the daughter of Bob Harris of Columbia and the late Ruby Dean Harden Harris. She was a homemaker and member of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by a son, Christopher Chase Beard of Lawrenceburg, TN; two sisters, Wanda Lee Blade and Kay Marion Hill both of Columbia, TN; her mother-in-law, Thressia Jerry Bishop of Lawrenceburg, TN; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Scroggins, David Mashburn, Michael Whittset, Alan Harris, Jason Spencer, and Tim Bailey. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Bishop and Davin Turner.
