Laban B. Hilton, Jr. entered into heaven on April 29, 2013 after an extended illness
Laban was born in Lancaster County SC on August 13, 1940 to Laban B Hilton and Thelma Catoe Hilton.
He is preceeded in death by his father, Laban B Hilton and brother-in-law John Randall Bunch.
He is survived by: wife, Reba P Hilton; daughter, Lindy Hilton Wyant; daughter, Rebekah Ashleigh Hilton; granddaughter, Josie Davis Wyant mother; Thelma Catoe Hilton sister; Dolores Hilton Bunch; nieces and nephews & great nieces and nephews
He attended Columbia Business College located in Columbia South Carolina. Laban and his family owned and operated the Armour's Red Boiling Springs Hotel in Red Boiling Springs, TN from 1999 to 2008. During these years he enjoyed meeting and cooking for the many guests of the hotel.
For anyone who knew Laban knew that he loved the outdoors, anything regarding nature. He loved floating down the Edisto River and Edisto Beach where his family vacationed yearly. He loved to fish and play golf.
Laban will be remembered by his friends and family as: kind, considerate, devoted to his family
Visitation for Laban B Hilton will be at the following: May 2nd 4:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. Williams Funeral Home 2517 Trotwood Ave. May 3rd 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Visitation New Life Baptist Church, 6851 Hwy. 52 East Lafayette, TN. May 3rd 6:00 p.m. funeral service New Life Baptist Church. May 4th 12:00 noon, interment Spring Hill Cemetery, Gallatin Pike S, Nashville, TN. Rev. Tim Bryson officiating.
