Kyle Michael Foster

Kyle Michael Foster, age 44, passed away on January 31, 2025, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee. Born on January 28, 1981, to Vicki Fields Grubbs, Kyle lived a life full of joy, kindness, and an unwavering love for music, and people. 

Kyle never met a stranger—his infectious smile and warm heart made everyone feel like a friend. He had a deep passion for music and could often be found enjoying live performances at Amber Falls and Puckett's. Kyle enjoyed playing miracle league baseball for Abigail’s Plan and loved spending time bowling. His enthusiasm for life extended to even the simplest pleasures—cheeseburgers and mexican were his favorites, and in high school, he was fondly known as “Corndog.”

Kyle enjoyed attending church at West End Baptist in Columbia, Tennessee. 

Kyle is survived by his loving mother, Vicki Grubbs; his devoted sister, Cassey (Jason) Sharpe; and his cherished nieces and nephews: Tyler (Brooklynn) Duberry, Gracie Duberry, Bronson (Stephanie and Hadley) Sharpe. He was adored by his niece: Gracie. He leaves behind his grandparents, Betsy (Richard) Davis and Jesse (Shelley) Fields; aunts, Linda Parsons and Regina Burba; great uncle: Thomas “Sonny” (Gayle) McCormick ;and cousins, Lauren (Bobby) Kennedy, Channing Burba, and Bailey Burba.

He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Mabel and JB McCormick; his great-aunt and uncle, Faye and Allen McCanless; great uncle: James “Dudley”McCormick; and his roommate and best friend, Ronnie Powell.

Pallbearers will be Jason Sharpe, Tyler Duberry, Bronson Sharpe, Bobby Kennedy, Sammy McCanless, Steven McCanless.

Honorary pallbearers will be PDI clients, Derek Dawson, Daniel Gobble.

Kyle’s family will receive friends on Monday, February 3, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee. A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee with Pastor Rick Elsey and Pastor Billy Brown. Kyle will be laid to rest at Polk Memorial Gardens.
