Kym was born on April 3, 1972 in Maury County. She was the daughter of Bobby Head of Lawrenceburg and the late Mary Whitehead Gaines. Kym was the wife of Carl Doub of Summertown. She was a graduate of Columbia State Community College. Kym was a homemaker and loved raising Chihuahuas and collecting redbirds.
In addition to her father and husband, Kym is survived by her two daughters, Khiana Doub and Khinzley Doub both of Summertown; a son, Connor Doub of Summertown; a brother, Jerald Carla Head of Summertown; a sister, Kay Perry of Lawrenceburg; three aunts, Faye Burns, Linda Morton and Katherine Woodard all of Mt. Pleasant; and two uncles, Johnny Whitehead of Lynnville and Eddie Whitehead of Mt. Pleasant. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jason Jackson, an uncle, Chuck Whitehead and an aunt, Jewell Estes.
Kimberly "Kym" Annette Head Doub was 38 years old and a resident of Highway 20 in Summertown. She passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at her residence.
Funeral services for Kym will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rick Points officiating. Interment will follow at Spencer Hill Cemetery.
The Doub Family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant.
Family and friends will be serving as pallbearers.
