Kimberley Jane Kim Walker

October 25, 1962 — August 6, 2008

Mrs. Kimberly "Kim" Jane Chappell Walker, age 45, a resident of Biffle Lane in Hampshire, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, at her residence.

Funeral services for Mrs. Walker will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Rock Jaggers and Rev. Earl Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Pisgah Cemetery.

The family will visit with friends on Friday from 4:00 until 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Helen Turner Chappell and Wayne Margie Chappell and the wife of William "Billy" Walker. She was a graduate of the UT School of Dental Hygiene and worked as a Dental Hygienist for Dr. M.E. Gillis for 23 years. She was a member of Hampshire United Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by her children: Allen Walker and Hannah Walker, both of Hampshire; brothers: Richard Sandra Chappell of Pottsville and Jeff Chappell of Seattle, WA; mother-in-law: Faye Walker of Hampshire; special friends: Penny Marks, Amy Montgomery, Debbie Poteet, Lisa Jett, Jenny Phillips and Judy James. She was preceded in death by a sister: Connie Chappell Brown; paternal grandparents: Paul J. and Pauline Goosby Turner; maternal grandparents: Maury P. and Viola Adams Chappell; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Dr. Malcolm Gillis, David Leahew, Ken Cecil, Randy Montgomery, David Bridgeforth, John Allen, Wendell Spears and Marty Newsom. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Hampshire United Methodist Church, office staff of Dr. M.E. Gillis, Dr. Angela Joynes and the Doctors and staff of the Columbia Oncology department.
