Larry Kevin White, age 37, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014.
Kevin was one of the few exceptional people in life. Born July 18, 1976 in Columbia, TN to Larry K. White and Teresa Calvert Overstreet, Kevin was a joy to be around his entire life. Extremely driven and ambitious, Kevin earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from the University of Tennessee as well as Orange Blood, following up with his Master’s Degree in Business Education at Middle Tennessee State University. A man of Christian faith, he exemplified a positive attitude and the love of Christ every day. Kevin had a good nature that could be seen in all aspects of his life; his smile was infectious. Always smiling and ready to help someone else, Kevin taught Computer Applications at Coffee County Central High School. Pursuing his dream of teaching and coaching, he was an assistant football and an assistant baseball coach. Walking by Coach White’s room, students, faculty, and staff would instantly smile as they heard his music playing. Kevin explained with a grin, “I’m just trying to show these kids a little culture.” He loved the Tennessee Vols, football, golfing, and coaching in his spare time. A true family man, Kevin adored the one’s dearest to him and looked forward to coming home each night and weekend. Kevin never met a stranger and had a way of making everyone comfortable right away. Full of joy and happiness, he brought life and love everywhere he went. The world will not know a better man; the epitome of a class act. Kevin is inexplicably loved and will be greatly missed.
