Kevin Failey

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kevin Failey on December 14, 2023, at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 8, 1958, in Springville, New York, to Otis and Marilyn Failey.

Kevin was an individual whose vibrant personality and infectious sense of humor touched the lives of everyone he encountered. An avid Buffalo Bills fan, he brought joy and laughter to countless friends and family members, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him.

A hardworking man who embraced life with open arms, Kevin's love for his family was unparalleled. Family always came first, and his devotion to his loved ones was unwavering. He was a fantastic father and a good, honest man who set an example for those around him.

In 2007, Kevin married the love of his life and soulmate, Melissa, with whom he shared a beautiful and fulfilling life. Their union was marked by love, laughter, and a deep connection that transcended the years. Together, they created a home filled with warmth, compassion, and the pitter-patter of six beloved dogs— a testament to Kevin's kind and caring nature as an animal lover.

Kevin Failey will be remembered for his zest for life, his quick wit, and his genuine kindness. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to call him family and friend. As we mourn his passing, let us celebrate the life of a man who brought so much joy to the world around him.

Kevin is survived by his loving wife: Melissa Failey; children: Zoe Failey and Zach Courtemanche.  He is also survived by his sister Gayle (Ron) Gominiak of Collins Center, New York, and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother: Dennis Failey

A celebration of life for Kevin Failey will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee.
