Kerry Winchester

Kerry Winchester was born November 1, 1960 in Columbia, to James H. Winchester of Columbia and Dorothy Wise Winchester, also of Columbia. Kerry played high school football in Chapel Hill where he graduated. After high school graduation, Kerry served in the U.S. Army for two years. He was an avid reader and loved all different types of guns. He worked for PSC Fabricating and was affiliated with the Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, Kerry is survived by two brothers, Randy Laurie Winchester and Troy Winchester, both of Mt. Pleasant and a sister, Lisa Hamlin of Columbia; nieces and nephews, Tara Rowe, Chelsea Hamlin, Chase Hamlin, Melody Winchester, Jim Winchester and Amanda Winchester along with one great niece, Rayne Rowe.

Kerry passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2012, at Maury Regional Medical following a brief illness.

Williams Funeral Home in Columbia is assisting the family with arrangements.
