Kenneth Wesley Peterson

Mr. Kenneth Wesley Peterson, age 88, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2009, at his residence at Poplar Estates.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. Williams Funeral Home in Columbia is in charge of arrangements.
The Omena, MI, native was born on December 7, 1920, the son of the late Arthur Peterson and Elna Larson Peterson. He was the husband of Doris Irene Gustafson Peterson who preceded him in death on August 12, 1994. Kenneth served our country during WW II in the Army Air Corps. He was a self employed factory rep for the electric industry. Kenneth was of the Lutheran faith.
Survivors include his children: David Carolyn Peterson of Columbia, Carol Phillip White of San Antonio, TX, Kenneth Evelyn Peterson, Jr., of Flint, MI, and Nancy Brian Durkee of Battle Creek, MI; 3 brothers and 1 sister, 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church Mission Fund, 2494 Nashville Highway, Columbia, TN 38401.
