Kenneth Abner Pierce

Mr. Kenneth Abner Pierce, 89, died Thursday July 25, 2002 at his residence on Sunnyside Drive in Columbia, Tennessee.
The family will visit with friends Saturday, July 27, 2002 from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Elmira, New York. A memorial service for Mr. Pierce will be conducted Tuesday, July 30, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. at the Elmore Church of the Nazarene with Reverend Ronnie Johnson officiating.
The Troy, Pennsylvania native was the son of the late Leslie and Mary Smith Pierce. He was the husband of the late Irene Hunter Pierce who died in 1980. He was a long-time resident of Rochester, New York having made his home in Columbia for the past 18 years. He was retired from the Kodak Company in Rochester. He attended the Elmore Church of the Nazarene and was a member of the Columbia Lodge # 31 of F & AM.
He is survived by a daughter, Linda Pierce of Columbia, TN; a son, Raymond Shirley Pierce of Cleveland, TN; a sister, Hazel Spaven of AZ; a brother, Glenn Pierce of Rochester, NY; 5 grandchildren, Tim Cheryl Odell of FL, Sheryl Scott Anderson of IN, Jeff Alissa Pierce of TX, Matthew and Karissa Pierce of Cleveland, TN; 5 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Elmore Church of the Nazarene 5984 Dog Creek Road Primm Springs, Tennessee 38476.
