Kelvin W. Crain

January 17, 1959 — April 6, 2007

Kelvin W. Crain, age 48, a resident of Hayes Denton Road in Columbia, passed away Friday, April 6, at Maury Regional Hospital.

Funeral services for Mr. Crain will be conducted Monday at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Mike Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery.

The family will visit with friends Sunday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the son of Willodean Stewart Crain of Columbia and the late Carl Thomas Crain. He was retired from the Maury County Central Maintenance Department.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Kristie Crain of Culleoka and Kandi Shane Miller of Columbia; grandchildren, Alexis Alcorn and Chloe Alcorn both of Culleoka, Madison Miller of Columbia; brothers and sisters, Kenneth Sally Crain of Columbia, Larry Lee Ann Crain of Mt. Pleasant, Lavenia Michael Shouse and Rachel Ronnie Burns both of Columbia, Daryl Tammy Crain and Dana Tonya Crain both of Columbia; nieces and nephews: Kasey Crain, Bubba Carter, Dakota Shouse, Derek Shouse, Brandi Crain, Shelby Crain, Jeremy Crain, Jessica Crain, Thomas Burns, Hunter Burns, Krista Crain, Kory Crain, Daniel Crain, and one great-nephew: Camden Crain. He was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Crain.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Crain, Larry Crain, Daryl Crain, Dana Crain, Jeremy Crain, Bubba Carter, Michael Shouse, Dakota Shouse, Ronnie Burns and Mike Thomas.

Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Anderson, Joe Adams, Shane Miller, Joe Holt, Brandon Holt, Shawn Michael Nay, Mary Etta London, Arlene Moore, Reba Thomas, Doris Howell and Deanna Nay.
