Kay Baxter, age 56, left this world too soon on April 5, 2022, in Columbia, Tennessee, after a battle with cancer.
She was born on March 24, 1966, to Gail Tiley Gahring and the late John Gahring in Berlin, Germany.
Kay was a wife, a mother, a loyal friend, and a talented artist. Kay was quick to laugh and loved life. She was totally devoted to her son and family.
Those left to cherish her memory will be her loving husband, Gregory Baxter, and son, Cooper Baxter; mother: Gail Gahring; siblings: John (Rebecca) Gahring, Vicki Gahring and her partner Leslie Lorance; niece: Tiley Gahring; uncle: Gary Tiley; and her Woodard Elementary School family.
A Celebration of Life for Kay will be held Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, TN. The family will receive friends and visitors from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
