Katie D. Craig, age 92, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Katie was born on March 12, 1927 in Trenton, Tennessee to Henry Earnest Bradley and Janie S. Brewer Bradley, also the twin sister to Kitty. She lived in the Rockdale community and was a devoted member of Sandy Hook Church of Christ. She will be remembered as a lady with strong will, and she stated to her a family a few days before her passing that she was never told what to do. Katie was a devoted homemaker to her family.
The family will visit with friends on Friday, December 27, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee. Funeral services will be conducted following the visitation at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee with Webb Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Cemetery.
Katie is survived by her sons, Alton Craig and Charles Craig, Sr.; grandsons, Austin Craig, Chris Craig, Chuck (Maggie) Craig Jr., and Chad (Autumn) Craig; great grandchildren, Kyle Craig, Tiffany (Jamie) Brashears, and Joelie West; great great-granddaughters, Coraline Brashears and Greta Kate Craig; and twin sister, Kitty (Harold) Wood.
Katie was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Milton Craig; parents, Henry Earnest Bradley and Janie S. Brewer Bradley; brothers Joe (Sara) Bradley and Hugh Bradley; grandson, Jason Craig.
Pallbearers will be Chuck Craig, Chad Craig, Chris Craig, Austin Craig, Danny Wood, Gaylon Wood, and Jimmy Bradley.
Honorary Pallbearers are members of Sandy Hook Church of Christ and Nathan McKennon.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Sandy Hook Church of Christ.
